I just finished shooting my war movie and i am in post production.
I'm just wondering what some of you use in terms of filters during editing? I've got Premiere and I'm not sure what filters to use to make the movie look a little less like video.

If you wantit to look a little less like video and more like film try putting up the contrasta lot, and keep it from geting to bright or too dark with the Brightness. If it starts toget too red go o the color corection or whatever it's called and turn the red down. This make it look pretty nice for me.
Fool around with the Polorizing filter.
Try them all out.

One thing that you could try is to deinterlace the movie when you are finished. This will ensure that each frame on screen in "each frame" and not some pseudo mix. It will reflect more like how film works.
To remove interlacing in Premiere, when you export your timeline, edit the settings when you export and under "Keyframe and Rendering" there is an option called "Fields". For PAL, this should be set to Lower Field First which is designed for interlacing on PAL TVs. Simply select "No Fields" to remove the interlacing.
Good luck with the edit!

Try using the black and white filter if you want your film to be in black and white.

in future i would get a 1/4 pro mist filter bang it on the front of the camera - takes the edge off video, luvly-jubbly
however since you have already shoot your footage - add a soft focus filter in post ie. blur
